Poster Art from Iranian Protestors on Social Networking Sites

I have been surfing MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter this evening and discovered some incredible poster artwork focusing on the valiant struggle against tyranny now underway in Iran. As we have seen on CNN, the Daily Kos, and elsewhere, horrific photos and videos from the streets of Teheran have been streaming to a global audience, thanks in large measure to social networking sites. But I believe that it is also important to see the political artwork that is being posted on social such sites. This artwork is incredibly powerful and frames the protests as more than simply a dispute over a single election. Many of the pieces I found frame the protests as a new Iranian revolution and the people of Iran as struggling for their freedom while facing a bloody crackdown.
